Face to Face Therapy
Life is full of challenges and obstacles that can limit your potential and happiness – if you let them! When you are ready and committed, we will accompany you on your journey to self-actualization and lasting inner peace. I offer holistic guidance and support for individuals and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, stress, grief and more. When you invest in your mental, emotional and physical well-being, you can learn how to understand and overcome the challenges you are facing.
Therapy is about both addressing specific issues which may be getting in our way as well as cultivating a healthy curiosity about ourselves, our patterns, and our experiences. Life is wrought with transitions which can catch us off-guard, and it is common to feel unsure as to whether we are on the right path.
Thankfully, these can be successfully navigated collaboratively and discreetly through a relationship with a trusted professional. Gaining an understanding of ourselves through identifying our blind spots is the first step in establishing a life that is both purposeful and fulfilling.
The pursuit of happiness doesn’t have to be work. Many myths and fallacies about psychotherapy are built around images of weakness and sadness. My responsibility to you is to guide you through the fear, trauma and anxiety that stop you from finding your path to happiness.
Together we can achieve a level of comfort, intimacy and freedom which will allow you to live your life to the fullest, in your relationships with family, friends, loved ones as well as yourself. It doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be authentic and heart felt.
How Therapy Works
Getting a better grasp of the conflicts and feelings you are experiencing can help you create better coping skills and feel more in control of your life. At times we all need help sorting through life’s complexities.
I believe that unresolved issues from the past tend to create obstacles that interfere with our present-day experiences. I work with people of all ages and backgrounds who are interested in exploring the dynamics of their personal and professional lives.
The atmosphere that is created in the therapy session is one of warmth, safety, and acceptance. I have a straightforward, interactive approach to treatment that incorporates empathic listening, reflection and imagery (and sometimes humor) to foster growth.
I am passionate about my work and strongly believe in the healing benefits of psychotherapy. I look forward to meeting with you.
